Today in Slate, I write about giving birth in the out-of-doors. Today in real life, my friend Jacob stopped through St. Louis and took only the second family photos we’ve managed to get done since about two minutes after her birth. Jacob gave us great direction, including: “There’s a giant dragon behind you, but you don’t know it.”
PS I am FINALLY recovering from postpartum anemia so for the first time in three months I don’t look like an extra on iZombie.
