Well, Zagreb is charmingly drab and the train station at night is a bit scary, but right now I’m on a little island called Hvar off the Dalmatian coast. It’s like if Venice and the Bahamas had the coolest baby ever. The water is turquoise, the buildings are ancient, and not a moment too soon I am staying in a hotel in a single room for six days. Yeehaw. Oh, right. Kafka. Really, there will be some Kafka soon. I’m spending the whole freakin’ summer in Prague doing a Kafka project and taking a Kafka course, so two months from now everyone who isn’t Kafka’d out already will be.
